Within the Cascina Pelada residential village, we have built a new detached villa that combines traditional construction techniques with contemporary architectural solutions.
The project originated from the client’s desire for a home with a modern style, yet one that is consistent with the architectural character of the surrounding natural and residential environment.
The building’s load-bearing structure comprises reinforced concrete elements, brick-and-concrete floor slabs and a timber roof, a combination that ensures structural strength and durability.
This traditional approach was chosen to combine structural reliability with ease of maintenance over time.
Alongside traditional systems, elements of contemporary design have been incorporated:
These details give the building a modern and minimalist appearance, perfectly integrated with the building’s volumes.
The wooden sliding shutters on the first-floor windows echo the external cladding of one of the two main volumes that make up the house, creating a coherent material dialogue between the façades and the windows.
The combination of metal, wood and plaster creates a contemporary yet warm visual effect, successfully blending modernity with domestic comfort.
To enhance the outdoor areas and extend the usability of the living space, two modern pergolas have been installed, creating shaded areas and outdoor seating spaces that are ideal for everyday life and socialising.
The project is completed by a private swimming pool and a carefully designed landscape, which help to create a relaxing and functional environment, perfectly integrated with the architectural style of the house.
The detached villa at Cascina Pelada is a successful example of the integration of traditional construction and modern design, where materials, volumes and finishes combine to create an elegant, comfortable and contemporary home.
The attention to detail, the use of metal and timber elements, and the care taken with the outdoor areas make this development a distinctive project within the area’s residential landscape.
