New construction at a historic villa on Lake MaggioreIn Stresa, within the prestigious setting of a historic villa overlooking Lake Maggiore, we have built a new in-ground infinity pool.
The project was designed to blend in with the surrounding landscape and respect the property’s original architecture, combining modern construction techniques with high-quality materials.
Load-bearing structure and overflow system
The pool structure was constructed from reinforced concrete, with particular attention paid to the concreting stages and the installation of embedded elements such as underwater lights, bottom drains and water recirculation outlets.
The interior of the pool has been lined with a waterproof finishing membrane, chosen to ensure ease of maintenance and a uniform appearance.
The natural stone pool coping elegantly integrates the perimeter channel – a functional feature typical of infinity pools – whilst maintaining a clean and understated aesthetic.
Outdoor spaces and outdoor furniture
To complete the pool area, a large wooden deck has been built around the entire perimeter, designed to provide a comfortable walkway and a space that can be enjoyed in all seasons.
At the rounded edge, the deck widens to accommodate a gazebo area dedicated to relaxation.
Final result
The construction of the infinity pool in Stresa has created a refined and functional space, where design, technology and landscape come together in perfect harmony.
